The award has been pre­sent­ed just 5 times in the past twen­ty years, and rec­og­nizes indi­vid­u­als who — in the eyes of their peers — have made note­wor­thy con­tri­bu­tions in the field of nat­ur­al gas con­ver­sion and the devel­op­ment of tech­nolo­gies that are like­ly to play an impor­tant part in meet­ing the world’s chem­i­cal and fuel require­ments in the years ahead.
