Club: South­east­ern Catal­y­sis Soci­ety (SECS)

The 2026 SECS Annu­al Sym­po­sium will be held in Blacks­burg, VA, on March 9–10, 2026. This will be a 1.5 day in-per­son sym­po­sium, last­ing from Mon­day AM until Tues­day midday.

The keynote speak­er is Dr. Yong Wang (Wash­ing­ton State Uni­ver­si­ty), the recip­i­ent of the 2025 Bur­well Lec­ture­ship in Catal­y­sis; Dr. Wang’s lec­ture is sched­uled for Mon­day, March 9th. We will also have two invit­ed speak­ers; from out­side of the region, Prof. Gina Noh (Penn State) and from the SECS, Emma Hu (Geor­gia Tech).
