2026 GPCS Symposium

The Great Plains Catal­y­sis Soci­ety is excit­ed to host its 2026 Fall Sym­po­sium on August 9–10 at Kansas State Uni­ver­si­ty in Man­hat­tan, KS. Please mark your cal­en­dars! This year’s sym­po­sium will feature:
• Ple­nary lec­tures from Prof. David Fla­her­ty (Geor­gia Insti­tute of Tech­nol­o­gy, Emmett Award), Prof. Gang Wu (Wash­ing­ton Uni­ver­si­ty), and Dr. Ron Abbott (Lyon­dell­Basell, GPCS Award Winner)
• Keynote speak­ers: Dr. Cong Liu (Argonne Nation­al Lab), Prof. Socrates Munoz (Kansas State Uni­ver­si­ty), Dr. Partha Nan­di (Exxon­Mo­bil), Prof. Vitaly Alexan­drov (Uni­ver­si­ty of Nebras­ka-Lin­coln), and Dr. Long Qi (Ames Nation­al Lab)
• Stu­dent oral and poster pre­sen­ta­tions and awards
• A Sun­day after­noon work­shop (Aug. 9) on cat­alyt­ic bio­man­u­fac­tur­ing and lab tours
